Building of sports infrastructure is going on in Shida Kartli. Implementation of large scale project started in order to further develop sports and promote healthy living in the region. A new football stadium is being built within the project. A symbolic capsule was laid in its foundation. The stadium is designed for 500 spectators. An artificial surfboard will be floored, artificial lightening will be installed and the appropriate infrastructure will be arranged. The large scale project is being implemented by the Football Federation of Georgia with the Fund of Municipality Development and its cost is more than GEL 2 000 000. Apart from this, rehabilitation works of the Kaspi Football School and mini stadium for training are planned.
