A Techno Park and Professional College are being built in

The Fund of Municipality Development and the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure started to build an innovation center –Techno Park in Kaspi. Maia Tskitishvili,-Vice-Prime Minister, Minister of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia,  Mikheil Batiashvili,- Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sport of Georgia, Giorgi Kobulia,- Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia, Giorgi Khojevanishvili,-Governor in Shida Kartli, Irakli Mezurnishvili,-a Majoritarian MP of Kaspi and the young people  of the region, together looked round the current buildings of the design space of the Techno Park and the Professional College which covers 200 students and talked about the process and results of the coordinative collaboration of the institutions. A two-story building with working and teaching rooms, e.g. a pub-lab, conference and supporting facilities, working space will be built within the project. Open terrace arrangement for different activities, fencing of the area , parking and greening are also being planned. The project includes needs of disabled people. The reconstructive works will start from February, 2019. Like Tbilisi Techno Park, young people in Kaspi, will have access to the  following technologies: 3D printers, different machines and to all equipment which the Techno Park will be equipped with.  Young people will have an opportunity to participate as in grant financing their projects’ implementation as in exchanging information and knowledge of experts. The curriculum of the Professional College will be based on demanded professions in the region. The college will focus on using of new technologies which will be promoted by the Techno Park located at the same area.  #1 new public school with modern standards which is adapted to the pupils of special educational needs was opened in Kaspi this new academic year. The school covers  650 pupils and it includes a library, natural science class-cabinets, a doctor’s room, sports and an assembly halls.
