Workshop on Infrastructure Plans for Regional Administration was held. The meeting was chaired by Deputy Minister of Regional Development and Infrastructure Ilia Begiashvili Shida Kartli State Representative Giorgi Khojevanishvili, Deputy of the State Representative Simon Guledani, majoritarian MPs, Shida Kartli mayors, council chairpersons and more heads of municipal infrastructure services attended the workshop.
The meeting focused on areas such as road infrastructure improvement, school rehabilitation, outpatient construction, disaster prevention and rural support.
It was noted by the parties that with this approach, municipalities will be able to procure and outsource design and cost documentation in a timely manner, while timely implementation of procedures will significantly enhance the readiness of design and construction companies and increase efficiency.
