Prime Minister of Georgia,-Giorgi Gakharia and Giorgi Khojevanishvili,-the State Representative of Shida Kartli met with the teachers, doctors, sportsmen and farmers working in the region of Shida Kartli.
The meetings were held on several locations. Prime Minister and the State Representative introduced the planes related to the region to the people and also they listened to their initiatives.
Later Giorgi Gakharia met with the mayors, their deputies and the Chairs of the Town Councils.
The head of government heard from local government officials about the challenges in the region that cannot be resolved by the efforts of local authorities alone. According to the Prime Minister, one of the main goals is to make the actions of the government more effective.
