The director of the company, Mahir Mamedov, met with Shida Kartli State
Representative Giorgi Khojevanishvili and handed over food boxes for 300
beneficiaries. Food products provided by the company will be handed over to the
families by the local self-government representatives.
‘’In parallel with the prevention of the spread of coronavirus, hundreds of people have
already been provided with food and basic necessities as part of an initiative by various
companies. At such times, cooperation between the private and public sectors is of
great importance, so I would like to thank each and every company and SOCAR Energy
Georgia for their outstanding social responsibility in this particular case,’’ said the State
Representative.
As soon as the state of emergency was declared in the country, the company
transferred 200,000 GEL to the StopCov Foundation.
