Rehabilitation of the castle located in the village of Akhalkalaki in Kaspi municipality has already started. Restoration of the complex, arrangement of an exhibition hall in the yeard, a space for the office, a rest room,an information centre and an amphitheatre are planned. 300,000 GEL has been allocated from the local budget for the restoration of the cultural heritage monument. Rehabilitation works will start in 2020 and will be carried out in two stages.
Shida Kartli State representative Giorgi Khojevanishvili and Irakli Mezurnishvili,-MP from Kaspi got introduced to the working process. According to the State representative, despite the pandemic, the arrangement of tourist infrastructure in the region is underway.
