The State Representative-Governor together with the representatives of public sector, the staff of Gori Municipality Improvemenets Services and students, engaged in the greening action. 250 different specious of saplings were planted in the refugees’ settlement in Verkhvebi within the action. The goals of the action were to rise environmental awareness, to promote greening and to popularize the topic of ecology. According to Governor, today’s action wouldn’t be a single one as  contribution to improving  the ecological situation of the region,  protecting of  the environment, caring after ecology and saving the natural environment conditions are main  priority directions of the region. Million of trees are planned to be planted this year within the program worked out by the government of Georgia.
