In Shida Kartli region, in the villages adjacent to the occupation line, the harvest of head crops entered an active phase.  The Ministry of Environment Protection and Agriculture is assisted by locals in harvesting the ‘’Agricultural Logistics and Services Company’’ Ltd.   

Minister of Environment Protection and Agriculture Levan Davitashvili and Shida Kartli State Representative Giorgi Khojevanishvili got acquainted with the harvesting process in Zemo Nikozi.

,, The process of harvesting grain crops has already started in Shida Kartli. The state is maximally involved and encourages farmers to carry out agricultural work in a timely and uninterrupted manner. The locals have our support in harvesting grain crops in the villages adjacent to the occupation line, so that they can settle the harvest smoothly," said Giorgi Khojevanishvili.

 63 combine harvesters are mobilized in Shida Kartli region, of which 32 units belong to the Ministry of Environment Protection and Agriculture, Agricultural Logistics and Services Company Ltd. Private sector equipment is also actively involved in the harvesting process.
