Natia Turnava,-the Deputy Minister at Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia, Giorgi Khojevanishvili,-Governor in Shida Kartli, Azer Mamedov,- Director of ‘’Socar Georgia Gas and Jaba Khmaladze,-General Director of Georgian Gas Transportation Company  surveyed completed gasification works in the region. They met the population of the village of Zerti and Mokhisi,-in the Kareli Municipality and participated in the traditional first inflammatory ceremony of natural gas in the families with them.
Company ‘’Sokar’’ is implementing of the intensive program of gasification through Gas Transportation Company. Shida Kartli region has almost been covered, 129 villages have already been gasified, the works are still going on in 15 other villages.

4 municipalities,129 villages, 28,213 families have been gasified since 2013 up today. In 3 villages of the Kareli Municipality: In Kodavardisubani,Zemo Shakasheti and Doghlauri, the works of gasification are still going on. Apart of this, the tender has been  announced in 7 villages of the Khashuri Municipality (Kemperi, Tsotskhnara, Odzisi, Tsivtskaro, Tsedani, Tsablovana, Kvemo Adzvisi) and gasification works will be started soon.
