The Ceramic Production Plant of Modern Standards in the Kaspi Municipality will be Constructed

The foundation of the ceramic production plant ‘’Ceramic El Torrent’’ corresponding to the modern standards was laid out and a symbolic capsule was laid in the village of Metekhi in the Kaspi Municipality with the support of ‘’Partnership Fund’’.

The ceramic production plant corresponding to the modern standards  is implemented with supporting of ‘’Partnership Fund’’, Spanish Company ‘’Ceràmicas El Torrent ‘’ and the Georgian company of the same name ‘’Ceràmicas EL Torrent’’. The brick plant will be operational in 2019 summer and produce 120,000 tone of bricks every year. Total cost of the project is over $3 000 000 and it will employ about 50 locals.   
The project means to combine of many years European experience with the traditional Georgian methods of brick producing,  to provide the local and  international markets in the future with high quality competitive energy efficient construction materials.
Davit Saganelidze,- Executive director of ‘’Partnership Fund’’, Khose Antonio Illeskas Lopez,-Head of the Spanish company ‘’Ceràmicas EL Torrent’’ and Zurab Erkvania,-Director of the Georgian Company ‘’Ceràmicas EL Torrent’’ signed the document related to building the new plant today.

Ceramic Producing Plant will be equipped with modern production lines, machines and techniques of the Spanish partner company. Brick clay quarries existing Kaspi region will be used. Brick made by modern technologies is distinguished by  its improved  thermal insulation, humid durability,sound isolation and limited weight. The state program ‘’Produce in Georgia’’ and the Bank ‘’Kartu’’ are involved in the project.
