The representatives of the Environmental  Protection Information Center conducted a training for the tutors and methodists  of the kindergartens in the Gori Municipality on introduction of the textbook of “Pre school Environmental Protection Education’’. Giorgi Khojevanishvili,-Governor in Shida Kartli and Tamar Aladashvili,-Director of the Environmental Protection Information Center attended the training also.

The textbook ‘’Pre school Environmental Protection Education’’ was developed within the school readiness program which includes theoretical material together with practical exercises suitable for the age and combines three environmental protection topics: biodiversity around us, saving water and energy, waste management. According to the training participants, environmental protection activities accomplished in one textbook will make teaching process easier and they will do their best to use the information and material gained at the training with their children. The textbook has already been introduced in the Tbilisi, Kakheti, Guria, Mtskheta-Mtianeti and Kvemo Kartli Municipalities.  Introducing of ‘’Pre schooling Environmental Protection Education’’ is planned by the end 2019 the scale of the whole country.
