Giorgi Khojevanishvili,-Governor in Shida Kartli, got familiar with the existing situation in the medical sector of  the region. Active clinics of ‘’Gormedi’’ system- Gori University Clinic, Mothers and Children’s Centre, Kareli Central Hospital and Khashuri Clinical Hospital are intensively going on emergency assistance of their  citizens.

,,The medical sector of the region fully meets the possible threats of spreading viral infections.There is a resource to be able to place additional patients in hospital if it is needed. There is no hinder for the existing medical sector in the region due to medicine supply and technical point of view’’,-said Shida Kartli Governor. There are staple basic reserved beds and besides this,

According to the Director of the clinic, besides this, additionally , 31 beds are available. He also noted that, there is no reason for panic,however, the appeal of population to reduce the risks must be timely.
