The economic conference ‘’Georgia and the World in 2019’’ was held in Technopark which was attended by Giorgi Khojevanishvili,-the State Representative of Shida Kartli. The conference was conducted by the initiative   of the annual edition ‘’The World 2019’’ of the British journal “THE ECONOMIST”

The main focus of the  meeting was on prospects for Georgia as a regional hub integration into the global economy, diversification of new markets and products of tourism, supporting of  entrepreneurship and increasing of potential of Georgia as an agricultural country.

 Vice Prime Minister, Minister of Regional Infrastructure Development  Maia Tskitishvili spoke about the implemented and planned projects in the country. She also noted lots of small projects are being implemented in Georgia which are related to the main arteries. According to Giorgi Khojevanishvili,-Governor in Shida Kartli, the issues which were discussed at the conference have high priorities in the region for  increasing tourism potential, supporting of entrepreneurs and developing of agriculture .
