Giorgi Khojevanishvili, -Governor of Shida Kartli, held a meeting with the representatives of the local self-government of the Kaspi and Gori Municipalities. Both municipalities presented their action plan in 2019. They discussed the planned projects related to infrastructure, social, education, culture and sport  which must be implemented in the region, the ways of their effective implementation and expected results.

Rehabilitation of the potable water network at the villages of  Teliani and Sasireti in the Kaspi Municipalities will be implemented, the road to the village of Teladgori will be asphalted, new kindergartens will be built in the settlement of Metekhi station and the village of Grakali,  Kaspi Ethnographic Museum will be rehabilitated, constructing of  the professional college and Technopark will be completed this year.

Rehabilitation of the connecting road of the villages of Mejvriskhevi and Akhalubani in the Gori Municipality, rehabilitation of internal roads in Karalei refuge settlement, arrangement   of sewage network and cleaning up building in the electrification settlement, arrangement of the potable water system in the village of Tiniskhidi, building of schools in the villages of Tedotminda and Mejvriskhevi, arrangement of street light in the village of Shindisi and building of the stadium in the village of  Khidistavi are planned.  Volley ball pitch named after Zaza Pachulia will have been completed by the end of the year.

,,The aim of our meeting is a detailed discussion of the planned projects in order   to minimize all risk-factors at the stage of implementation. Besides this, the process of joint collaboration and sharing our opinions with one another will support to implement the planned activities more effectively. Our main challenge is that each implemented project will improve the conditions of the population and the infrastructural environment of the municipalities’’,-said the Governor. 

Apart from this, building of information centers will be started in Gori and Kaspi which will improve the service of tourism and much more popularization of Shida kartli region municipalities.
