Water supply has been restored for the main part of Kaspi population-1400 families since this morning. Additionally, the United Water Supply Company will complete the rehabilitation works in several days to ensure water supply for the remaining 83 subscribers, before this, the families will be supplied with water tanks.

On the basis of the conclusion of the Geologist group, the fall of the land caused the water leakage from the out dated  pipes that were arranged by the local population for years ago.

At this time, the company's relevant services are being carried out by the land masses and cleaning of the area. At the same time, the project is being implemented on the basis of which  the old pipes will be replaced with the new network.  The works of constructing protective embankments will also begin.

Several days ago, due to the collapse of the land, the United Water Supply Company suspended two water reservoirs temporarily to avoid timely threats.  The emergency group of the company was working on the site during the whole night. Shida Kartli Governor's Administration, Emergency Situations Management and City Hall of the Kaspi Municipality were involved in the process.

The relevant agencies were mobilized.  Due to the incident water supply was limited to 30% of the population. The company constantly provided water to the locals by water tanks.
