Rehabilitation works of the railway platform in the village of Kvakhvreli in the Gori Municipality will be started in the nearest future. Giorgi Khojevanishvili,-the State Representative of Shida Kartli and Vasil Khorava,-Director of  the Georgian Railway Infrastructure evaluated the requirement to start the planned project in the shortest possible time. 
The railway platform will be completely rehabilitated and the waiting hall of modern standards for 30 people will be arranged within the project
Tourists will also use the railway line together with the locals. For the visitors from different countries , this route is the shortest, comfortable and cheap  way to go to one of the biggest center of tourism,-Uplistsikhe from the Gori Municipality. The railway infrastructure will be significantly improved in Kvakhvreli as a result of  implementation of the project.
