Rehabilitation works will be done at historical Gori and Surami Castles. Giorgi Khojevanishvili,-the State-Representative in Shida Kartli and Nikoloz Antidze,- the Director of the National Agency for Cultural Heritage Preservation of Georgia evaluated the situation at the spot,got familiar to the current processes and talked about the particular plans.  

„We looked around the monuments of the cultural heritage together with the authorities of the National Agency for Cultural Heritage Preservation . I should distinguish Gori Castle where the archeological works will be continued all the year round, apart from this,  the space of museum will have been created by the end of the year and we’ll work at the conception with the society’s engagement what kind of museum can be arranged at this space which will create an extra interesting space for tourists.   We also looked around Surami Castle and suppose to start rehabilitation works of Surami Castle in the nearest future,-as archeological as conservation works ‘’,-said Giorgi Khojevanishvili,-the State-Representative in Shida Kartli.  

According to Nikoloz Antidze,-the Director of the National Agency for Cultural Heritage Preservation of Georgia, rehabilitation works of Surami Castle is being planned together with the Municipality Development Fund.
