Giorgi Khojevanishvili,-the State-representative in Shida Kartli and Giorgi Khanishvili,-the First Depute of the Minister of the Environment Protection and Agriculture brought  about 150 apple seedlings  to  the village of Arashenda and helped Aleksandre Kopadze,-the local farmer  to plant them.

In December of last year, Alexander Kopadze’s   a four-year-old apple garden was cut down.      With the mediation of the Shida Kartli Information-Consultation Service of the Ministry of Environment Protection and Agriculture, private sanitary farming company "Complex-Argo" LLC handed out apple seedlings for the restoration of Alexandre Kopadze’s garden. The Ministry of Environment Protection and Agriculture of Georgia provides special assistance to farmers.

"It is especially important for the Shida Kartli region to upgrade the fruit gardens.   The Ministry of Environment Protection and  Agriculture is implementing a number of supporting projects in this direction. Alexandre Kopadze will have a new garden, "- said Giorgi Khojevanishvili.
