The four municipalities of Shida Kartli region participated in the 21st international exhibition of tourism which was held in exhibition center of "Expo Georgia".

Giorgi Khojevanishvili,-the State Representative in Shida Kartli and Nugzar Samkharadze,-his deputy attended the exhibition. According to Khojevanishvili, engagement and participation of the region in the international exhibitions is very important as it will support the popularization of the production which is produced in Shida Kartli.

The exhibition guests had a chance to introduce to the tourist routes of the Gori, Kaspi, Khashuri and Kareli. The guide books representing of Shida Kartli tourist sights,photo-stands, ceramic items, the master class of working on clay, the wattled items, hand made musical instruments and also the production of  the basements and enterprises existing in the region were represented at the exhibition. The guests also had a chance to watch and taste the process of nazuki baking in thone-Georgian bakery.

‘’Georgian Tourism Fair 2019 –‘’ was held with the support of The Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia and  the National Tourism Administration. The supporters of the exhibition are: the National Tourism Administration, Tbilisi City Hall, The Business-tourism Association of Georgia, Horeka Association, The Guides’ Association, Tourism Association, The Marketer, The Print-area, National Rewarding of Welcome to Georgia.
