The Christmas Alilo procession started from the Virgin Mary’s Nativity  Cathedral and pilgrims walked through the central streets of the town. After the procession, the Metropolitan of Gori and Ateni Diocese Andrea  blessed the participants.

Shida Kartli State-representative Giorgi Khojevanishvili joined the process together with the representatives of the local self-government and gave Christmas presents to the participants.  ,,Merry Christmas! Christmas is associated with love, hope, peace and kindness and I wish you, your families and our home-country have this all much’’,-said Giorgi Khojevanishvili.

Christmas Alilo was held in all the municipalities of the region.
