The action is going on at food supermarkets in Gori which is organized by the Administration of Shida Kartli State Representative and ‘’The Red Cross’’ which allows the population to join the campaign and contribute to helping their fellow citizens.  In particular, anyone will be able to buy the products that ‘’The Red Cross’’ volunteers will recommend on the spot. Customers will find out ‘’The Red Cross’’ corner where they will be able to leave products.  The collected products will be packaged with the help of volunteers and will be given to the target families.      

Giorgi Khojevanishvili,-the State Representative of Shida Kartli attended got familiar to this action and took part in it himself. He also got the information about the backlog of the supermarkets:   "Civilian involvement is important in preventing the spread of coronavirus. Within the framework of this initiative, we, each person, help the people who need the most support due to the current situation.   Currently, 4 grocery stores have joined this initiative and I hope this number will increase in the future, ”said the  State Representative.  

         The package will be distributed to single elderly people and socially vulnerable families through trained volunteers.     The event is organized on the recommendation of the Interagency Coordinating Council.
