With the financial support of the South Ossetian administration, the government of the Autonomous Republic of Abkhazia, Kurta,  Eredvi, Tighvi municipalities and the organization of the Shida Kartli Representative Administration, food products are being  provided to the IDPs living in Shida Kartli.  Up to 3,000 families have already  received food and also, an additional 2,000 families are planned to be transferred by this time. In addition to resettling IDPs, food supplies were provided to several dozen veteran families.

       Shida Kartli State Representative Giorgi Khojevanishvili got acquainted with the procession on the spot and personally visited one of the families.

,,I would like to thank all the sides involved in this important  action, through joint efforts we will be able to provide the population with supplies. Private sector is also actively involved in charitable activities and I would like to thank them once again’’, said the State Representative.

According to the solutions and recommendations of the interdepartmental coordination council of the Georgian government, different activitis are going on in Shida Kartli. .Food will be provided to the beneficiaries on a daily basis from the social canteen of all four municipalities. Information on security measures for citizens is also being provided intensively.
