Fish factory ‘’Umali’’ which is located in the village of Urbnisi,in Kareli Municipality goes on working at full capacity. Giorgi Khojevanishvili,-the State Representative of Shida Kartli inspected the enterprising process in Urbnisi.  

The fish factory, except Shida Kartli, supplies products to all regions of the country.          According to the factory representatives, the working process is going on at full capacity and the prices of the product have not been risen. Also  the safety recommendations established  by the Ministry of Health are fully protected  during the work process.

The European Standard Enterprise was funded under the ‘’United Agro Project’’ and has invested up to $ 2 million.   Up to 100 people are employed in the processing factory.    

Within the frameworks of the coordinating council which is set up under the Prime-Minister’s leadership, coordination working groups are in action which are established by the State Representative of Shida Kartli. The coordination groups are controlled  by the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure and Sozar Subar,-An adviser of the Prime-Minister in the Regional Issues.
