Five checkpoints were set up at the entrances and exits of Gori

       Shida Kartli State Representative Giorgi Khojevanishvili together with his Deputy Amiran Kristesiashvili and the Commander of the First Infantry Brigade Roland Dzneladze visited the checkpoints at the entrances to Gori and got acquainted with the work process on the spot. The State Representative  talked to the employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the representatives of the Defense Forces and received information about the implementation of the strict restrictions on the situation and the state of emergency in the checkpoints. He also attended the process of primary thermoscreening of citizens. On average, up to 7,000 people are checked at checkpoints every day.

Employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, together with the representatives of the Defense Forces, control the checkpoints 24 hours a day at the special checkpoints on the main roads entering and leaving Gori.
An emergency operational headquarters has been set up in Shida Kartli, headed by the State Representative of Shida Kartli.
