Tomato greenhouse in Berbuki continues to operate smoothly

In parallel with the prevention of the spread of coronavirus, agricultural work is being
carried out intensively in the region. Due to the current period of spring works, according
to the decision of the Interagency Coordinating Council, hourly movement of cars is
allowed in order to continue agricultural activities for an uninterrupted period of time.
At the same time, the operation of pesticide and agrochimical stores is running
smoothly. These benefits are especially important for farmers working in the region.
Shida Kartli State Representative Giorgi Khojevanishvili inspected and got familiar to
the working process at Berbuki greenhouse in Gori Municipality. 50 locals are
employed at the greenhouse. In addition to Georgia, the products grown in the
greenhouse are also exported.
