The milk processing enterprise ‘’Nebiera’’ in Gori continues to operate in an active mode, despite the state of emergency declared to prevent the spread of coronavirus. In addition to Shida Kartli region, the enterprise also provides the kindergartens of Borjomi Municipality with dairy products. ,,Nebiera" produces two types of cheese, pasteurized milk, sour cream, sour milk, cottage cheese and curds. The dairy product is purchased both at the factory and by the distribution machines on the spot. Currently, the enterprise employs about 15 locals. Giorgi Khojevanishvili,-the State Representative of Shida Kartli visited the enterprise and got acquinted to the working process. According to him, due to the current situation, it is important for the enterprises to operate smoothly in the region. "Despite the current situation, the enterprises that produce primary consumption products for our population did not stop working in Shida Kartli. One of them is ‘’Nebiera’’, which products are distributed at the local market," - said the State Representative. The company ,,Nebiera" was established in 2008 within the framework of the UN Development Program, but for some time it was no longer operational. It is currently leased to a local entrepreneur who, in addition to resuming work, also committed to promoting the development of dual vocational education.
