Due to   the Independence Day of Georgia, a state flag raising event was held on Gori Central Square. Also, the national anthem was playedGiorgi Khojevanishvili, the State Representative of Shida Kartli, together with the representatives of the local authorities attended the event.

According to the pandemic in the country, a large-scale cultural and creative events were not  held in Shida Kartli. The administrative buildings and the central squares of the towns of the municipalities of the region were decorated with flags.
