The city of Gori hosted the International Forum “Support for Innovation” with the participation of local self-government representatives from Georgia, Poland, Ukraine and Armenia. On the final day of the International forum in Gori Foreign delegates attended the forum. They presented their cities and shared their experience with local self-government representatives. State Representative-Governor Zurab Rusishvili attended the international forum. The governor expressed his gratitude towards foreign representatives of sharing experience and support.

The main raised during the event was related to the role of local self-government in supporting and developing small businesses and entrepreneurships on the level of municipalities. The participants of the event exchanged their views and experiences on how to create good terms and conditions for potential investors in cooperation with central authorities.

 International forum “Support for Innovation” was organized by the Gori Municipality City Hall and Gori Municipality Development Agency. The second edition of the event is planned to be held next year
