New orchards will be planted on 430 Ha land in the region of Shida Kartli. Within the framework of the Agricultural Project Management Agency program "Plant for the Future, 84 beneficiaries received funding, a total of 2,881,000.00 GEL.

The manager of  Agricultural Projects Management Agency program "Plant for the future,"  Levan Dolidze and Shida Kartli Deputy Governor Amiran Shavshishvili have attended the process of garden cultivation by one of the beneficiaries, Leila Tielidze in the adjacent village at the demarcation line, Zerti. Leila Tielidze joined the program in 2015 and  has been financed by  70,000,00GEL from State for the purpose of planting an apple orchard at 7Ha and arranging the irrigation system. 65,115.00 GEL was intended for young plants whereas 4,885.00 GEL –for irrigation systems.
