The local government representatives congratulated participants of the Great Patriotic War on victory day over Nazi Germany near the territory of War Museum in Gori.  The event was attended by the active governor of Shida Kartli Ioseb Okromelidze. In his speech he paid attention on May 9 as the internationally important date. He also talked about Georgian contribution losing thousands of people for the victory and peace. Ioseb Okromelidze mentioned that Georgian forces are actively involved in international peacekeeping activities till today. The active governor wished veterans health and well-being. The local government representatives regaled the Great Patriotic War participants with dinner.
