There was discussed alpine settlements’ status of Shida Kartli in Governors administration. The meeting was led by the active Governor, Ioseb Okromelidze. 
The meeting was mainly accentuated on Shida Kartli villages which had not been conferred on alpine settlement status. Accordingly, Governors of municipalities with the firm arguments represented the list of those villages to the Ministry of regional development and infrastructure of Georgia.
The mountain law purpose is to establish advantages of alpine regions to support their social economic progress.
