Sport complex construction process was attended by the active governor of Shida Kartli, Ioseb Okromelidze, Deputy of governor, Amiran Shavshvishvili and Khashuri governor, Giorgi Guraspashvili, in Khashuri municipality.  
The abovementioned project was financially supported by “Regional development fund”. Indeed, Sport Complex construction process will be completed in September, 2017. The building will play a huge role in the healthy lifestyle development, - said Ioseb Okromelidze.
“There was a landfill on the Sport Complex territory before the construction had started and had no other optimal assignment.  Accordingly, after the construction we will have competition, circus ring and gym halls. Besides, there will be Hotel, snack-bar, consequently, it will be full set of  sport complex to host any kind of local and regional sport meetings.  There also will be artificial covering for more than 2000 m2 and parking”, said Khashuri municipality Governor Giorgi Guraspashvili.  
It should be mentioned that there had not been built sport complex before and this construction was one of the demandings of the local inhabitants.
