There was held meeting between the active governor, Ioseb okromelidze and village population of Gori municipality, in the regional administration of Shida Kartli. The citizens who represented eight villages talked about the important challenges of settlements. Ioseb Okromelidze answered all the given questions completely. It should be mentioned that the most of the aroused issued were about road infrastructure, irrigation, fresh water and gasification problems. The active governor mentioned that with the local and central government support listed problems would be solved till the end of 2017. He also emphasized that citizens’ involvement is very important to identify local problems. There were also issues which were not studied by the administration yet, consequently, those challenges were written down by the governor for the further response. The meeting was organized by Charitable Humanitarian Center “Apkhazeti” within the frames of the project, “Active and transparent self-government of Shida Kartli”.
