220 fire brigades,17 fire trucks, special techniques  for forest fires, the foresters of National Forestry Agency and the border police helicopter of the Ministry of Internal Affairs were involved in the process of the fire extinguishing.

Shida Kartli governor Giorgi Khojevanishvili, Acting Head of Emergency Situations Management Service Shalva Khutsishvili and Head of Forestry Agency Tornike Gvazava were from the first day of the fire at the place of the incident.

 According to Shalva Khutsishvili, Acting Head of Emergency Situations Management Service, firefighters will stay at the spot  for the prevention of the ground and will monitor the municipal territory.

‘’One fire brigade, about 20-50 people will stay together with several units of special equipment, there is a certain standard of monitoring and after the final assessment, they will leave the territory as well,-Shalva Khutsishvili told the journalists  during the conversation.

„I’d like to thank everybody who were involved in the process of the fire extinguishing. Such  joint and coordinated work resulted in liquidation of fire in the shortest possible time, "said Shida Kartli Governor Giorgi Khojevanishvili.

Due to the information of Emergency Management Services, about 10 hectares of the forest territory is burned.
