Shida Kartli Governor, Gorgi Khojevanishvili met the representatives of ‘’Greens’ Movement of Georgia, friends of the Earth-Georigia. Khojevanishvili got the information about the planned cleaning activity which will be held on the 15^th of September and said that his administrative staff is ready actively participate in the event, as to organize the event and to take part in it.

At the meeting, the both sides paid attention to the existed situation of the environmental protection and challenges in the region. The participants  of the meeting discussed the plans which must  be implemented in the future in order to improve the environment in this regard, as solid waste management as creation of the green cover. They also discussed about the ways of improving of eco-systems and agreed on close cooperation in this regard.
