Shida Kartli Representative-governor, Giorgi Khojevanishvili, together with the representatives of the regional administration participated in cleaning up the territory near ‘’Akhal Baghi’’ in Gori. This campaign went on in four municipalities at the same time- in the villages of the Kaspi, Kareli, Khashuri  and Gori Municipalities, which were  joined by the representatives of  public, private  and non-governmental sector. According to  Khojevanishvili, one of the most prior direction is to care after the environment and ecology  of the region. For this reason, today’s activity will not be occasional.

The activities of cleaning up in the region were organized by ‘’The Greens’ Movement’’ /Friends of the Earth,- regional coordinators of Georgia, the organization of the environment protection CENN and the local governments.
