The Governor in Shida Kartli met with the regional Media representatives and summed up his one-month work. The meeting was held in question-answer mode and the Governor fully answered the journalists’ questions. The State Representative  focused on the priority of meeting with the population and said that one of the first step he started his activity was the meetings with the population as, a direct communication and introducing to the needs at the site promotes the planning of the projects correctly. He also spoke about deepening relations with the ENGIOs and international organizations, which will facilitate the implementation of tailored  projects in the region. According to Khojevanishvili, it is important to maximize  tourism potential and the work  on this issue has already started. ‘’Imagine a video clip filming  about Shida Kartli region has been completed and we will have an opportunity to watch it together very soon. The video clip represents the priorities and tourism attractions of the region. I  will tell you and of course, inviting you to Gori’s Day which is planned at the end of the month, on 30^th of September, which will be located in Tsereteli street. We talked about activating of this street and exploring its potential at our previous meeting as well and celebrating of Gori’s Day in this street in particular, accomplishes this end’’. 

It is worth saying that the first meeting with the Media representatives took place last month, where the Governor introduced  his initiative about periodic meetings to the regional journalists and promised to provide them with the information about the current and planned news and discuss the work carried out with them.
