State Representative-Governor in Shida Kartli, Giorgi Khojevanishvili along with the Mayor of Gori looked round the locations where the activities planned for Gori Day celebration will take place. According to the Governor, the activities dedicated to Gori Day celebration will be varied and interesting. They will be located on three areas. They will be started in Kirion II street and ended on Gori Castle. Gori’s Patron ‘’Okoni’’ icon will have been  carried out and lied since morning at Gori Our Lady’s Nativity Cathedral. Exhibition-selling of the productions of small and large agro industries(honey, diary products, various assortment of dried fruit, fish, flowers, seedlings and etc.)  existed in Shida Kartli will be arranged within the agro-festival.  Variety of wine installed in cellars in Shida Kartli will be tasted and sold as well. Achievements of  the villages in Gori and their products will be exhibited on Gori Castle slopes.  The ceremony of Gori honorable citizen’s status and Gori Girls’ Choir concert will be held at Gori Giorgi Eristavi State Drama Theatre. The evening will be ended by fireworks.
